Famed Democratic Political Consultant is a Keynote Speaker at 2016 NACBASF Convention

The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys is excited to announce that Bob Shrum, famed democratic political consultant, will be one of three Keynote Speakers at NACBA’s 24th Annual Convention at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis on May 19th-22nd in picturesque San Francisco, California.

shrumThe Atlantic Monthly described Robert M. Shrum as “the most sought-after consultant in the Democratic Party.” Mr. Shrum served as the senior advisor to the 2004 Kerry-Edwards campaign, the 2000 Gore Presidential Campaign, to the campaign of Prime Minister Ehud Barak of Israel and to the British Labour Party in the 2001 Parliamentary campaign.

“NACBA is honored to have the legendary strategist Bob Shrum as a Keynote Speaker at this year’s convention. Having such a renowned political consultant is a privilege and we are excited that our attendees will have the opportunity to hear him speak, especially at the height of this year’s political climate,” said Dan LaBert, Executive Director of NACBA.

During Bob Shrum’s impressive career he has been a journalist, with his work being featured in New York Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and The New Republic. He has also been a columnist for Slate and The Huffington Post, and writes a regular column for TheWeek.com. Since 1985, Shrum was a strategist and advertising consultant for thirty winning U.S. Senate campaigns; eight winning campaigns for Governor; the Mayors of New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, Dade County and San Francisco and the Democratic Leader of the United States House of Representatives. Shrum is also author of the book, “No Excuses: Concessions of a Serial Campaigner.”

Best Selling Author Added to 2016 #NACBASF Convention Speaker Lineup

The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys is excited to announce that Nomi Prins, renowned journalist, author and speaker will be a Keynote Speaker at the 24th Annual Convention in San Francisco, CA at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis on May 19th -22nd.

Nomi’s thoughtful engaging key-note speeches have been well received at numerous venues. She has appeared on the BBC, RtTV, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, CSPAN, Democracy Now, Fox and PBS along with being featured on hundreds of radio shows globally including CNN Radio, Marketplace, NPR, BBC, and Canadian Programming. She has also been featured in numerous documentaries alongside prominent thought-leaders, and Nobel Prize winners.

NACBA President, Ed Boltz said, “Nomi Prinz will add an intellectual level of depth to NACBASF that attendees expect when they come to our convention. Her body of work speaks for itself.”

Nomi is currently at work on a new book, Artisans of Money, that will explore the recent rise of the role of central banks in the global financial and economic hierarchy. Her other books include the groundbreaking, “All the Presidents’ Bankers,” “Black Tuesday,” the hard-hitting expose, “It Takes a Pillage: Behind the Bonuses, Bailouts, and Backroom Deals from Washington to Wall Street,” and “Other People’s Money: The Corporate Mugging of America.”

Besides being an author, Nomi Prins is a Forbes contributor, was a member of Senator (and presidential contender) Bernie Sanders (I-VT) Federal Reserve Reform Advisory Council, and is listed as one of America’s TopWonks. She is on the advisory board of the whistle-blowing organization ExposeFacts and is currently a Distinguished Senior Fellow at the non-partisan public policy think-tank, Demos.
